BSI together with Edana at INDEX Nonwovens 23
INDEX™ Nonwovens 23 was held at Palexpo in Geneva from April 18-21. This leading fiber exhibition is held once every three years and attracts exhibitors and visitors from around the world.
Confirming the appeal of this unique event, exhibitors took full advantage of the four intensive days to meet potential new customers and expand business with existing customers. As the world's leading nonwovens exhibition, INDEX provided a unique opportunity to showcase the latest breakthroughs and innovative solutions in all nonwovens applications.
In addition to the exhibition itself, there was a rich program of accompanying events: Exhibitor Product Presentations; a series of informative seminars covering a myriad of topics, including medical nonwovens, sustainability, circular economy, geosynthetics, textiles, mobility, fair trade, gender equality, innovation and market trends.
The event's global reach was underscored by impressive numbers - 610 exhibitors from 43 countries presented their products to visitors from 100 countries. Among them was BSI in cooperation with Edana.
"Our goal is to inspire confidence in a more resilient world. Our solutions and services improve productivity and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals," said Sytske Schoenmakers, CE Marketing Director at BSI. "Our mission is to share knowledge, innovations and best practices to help people and organizations make excellence a habit. Among other things, BSI is responsible for training and auditing for the EDANA Quality and Audit Program."
QAP, the EDANA quality and audit programme, is a voluntary programme and comprises of 2 parts: This first element is a minimum quality standard, which specifies minimum requirements for the quality management system of a supplier in the hygiene industry, thus helping to ensure consumer expectations of this industry are met.
